About the Diet

Introducing the Skip-A-Day Diet

The Skip-A-Day Diet has two components: Eat-Day and Diet-Day. The goal of the diet is to cut out all of the extra fats, gravies, and sauces that normally come with meals.  It also cuts out all of the sugar-sweetened desserts and drinks that people normally get with their meals.  This is also a flexible diet that can be used by almost anyone.  Even growing teenagers can use the Skip-A-Day Diet to lose weight because it is nutritionally sound.

You will be able to consume your full nutritional allowance the first day and eat nothing at all the second day.  People who have a recommended dietary allowance of 2,400 calories per day, may consume up to 3,000 calories on eat day. This will give them abut 1,500 calories per day for the two-two period.

Here is how the diet forces the body to give up some of its stored fat. The first night, your body will process and distribute the nutrients you consumed that day.  The second night, your body will draw on your stored fat to bring your reserve energy level up to full.

This way you will be deliberately targeting and burning stored body fat, which means you will have a more permanent weight loss.
